Day 1
Upon your arrival in Costa Rica, a representative of Costa Rica Sun Tours will meet you at the airport, present you with land portion vouchers and transfer you to your hotel

Days 1 – 2
1 nights accommodation at a Hotel in or near San Jose

Day 2
Today experience the thrill of rafting along the Sarapiqui River. The Sarapiqui River flows through virgin tropical forests and has an incredible array of wildlife including toucans, river otters and blue morpho butterflies.  After rafting continue on to your hotel in the Sarapiqui region (B.L.D)

Days 2 – 4
2 nights accommodation at a Lodge in the Sarapiqui region

Days 3
Full day to explore the O.T.S. at La Selva, a research station and biological reserve of the Organization for Tropical Studies. In this reserve more than 450 species of trees, 400 species of birds, 113 species of mammals, 81 species of reptiles, & 48 species of amphibians have been identified.  With your guide and a local guide roam the 15-km of trails through primary and secondary forest, and its arboretum.  Return to your hotel in Sarapiqui (B.L.D)

Days 4
This morning depart Sarapiqui for the Arenal Volcano region. Afternoon visit La Fortuna Waterfall where you hike down a 500 meter trail, through lush forest to the base of this spectacular waterfall and enjoy the swimming hole at the base of the waterfall before hiking back up (B.L.D)

Days 4 - 5
1 nights accommodation at a Lodge in the Arenal region

Day 5
Morning guided hike in the Arenal Volcano National Park, then depart for Monteverde, one of the most diverse and richest tropical cloud forests in the New World (B.L.D)

Days 5 - 7
2 nights accommodation at a Lodge in the Monteverde region

Day 6
Morning walk the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, home to the Resplendent Quetzal and hundreds of other birds, mammals and plant species. In the afternoon hike a trail with a series of suspension bridges. (B.L.D)

Day 7
This morning depart Monteverde for Jaco Beach on the Central Pacific Coast (B.L.D)

Days 7 - 9
2 nights accommodation at a Hotel in Jaco Beach

Day 8
This morning with your Guide visit the Carara National Park.  The Carara has a transitional climate and contains flora and fauna from both the hot dry northwest, and the rainy region of the southwest.  Carara's habitat includes marshes, primary and secondary forests, and is home to parrots, parakeets, toucan, trogons, Scarlet Macaws, and three species of monkeys (B.L.D)

Day 9
After breakfast depart Jaco for San José, stopping en route at the artisan town of Sarchi.  Sarchi is a shopper’s paradise, you will have a chance to visit local woodworkers, craftsmen and a visit to the Oxcart Wheel Factory where you can watch the artists in action painting the colorful painted oxcarts, a traditional symbol of Costa Rica (B.L.D) 

Days 9 - 10
1 nights accommodation at a Hotel in or near San Jose

Day 10   
Pick-up at your hotel for a departure transfer to the International Airport in San Jose to check-in 3 hours before your scheduled flight time (B)
