 In 1988, our company pioneered Costa Rica ecotourism, and ever since it has been specializing in Costa Rica nature tours and adventure tours.
Using our experience and knowledge, our Costa Rica nature tours bring guests to the best places to see wildlife, volcanoes, forests and beaches. Our Costa Rica trips are led by experienced bilingual naturalist guides and most include all transportation and many of the meals. Private tours can be custom-made or you can ask that one of our guided excursions be conducted on a private tour basis. Singles and couples can have the advantages of a guide at lower cost by joining one of our guided small group excursions to Arenal and Monteverde (daily departures with a minimum of two participants). Ecotourism in Costa Rica does not mean foregoing the other pleasures of the country. We can combine the beach and the full range of activities into a Costa Rica nature tour in any proportion you like. Example Nature Tour #1: Adventures with Nature This 10 day trip takes you into four different ecosystems: 1) the lush lowland rainforests of Sarapiqui; 2) Arenal Volcano which is one of the world’s most active volcanos; 3) Monteverde Cloud Forest – one of the richest and most diverse tropical cloud forests in the world; and 4) Carara – a transitional zone between the hot dry northwest and the rainy regions of the southwest of Costa Rica. Example Nature Tour #2: A Natural History Tour of Costa Rica
This carefully designed itinerary combines four of the best regions to see wildlife in the country. We take you from coast to coast with a tour of Tortuguerro National Park where we visit one of the most important nesting sites for the green sea turtle in the western hemisphere to the lush tropical rainforest of Tiskita Jungle Lodge in the Golfo Dulce. After flying back to San Jose we proceed to Arenal Volcano, which is one of the world’s most active volcanos; and then onto the Monteverde Cloud Forest – one of the richest and most diverse tropical cloud forests in the world.
