Bosque del Cabo has ten private, spacious beautifully crafted thatched-roof bungalows, perched atop the cliffs of Cabo Matapalo each offering stunning ocean views, and tropical breezes. Each bungalow has fans, power, modern bathrooms with hot water & outdoor garden showers, maid service and porches equipped with hammocks and easy chairs. The solar-powered, open-air restaurant serves delicious meals in a friendly atmosphere, and dinner by lantern light. Trails on the property allow for exploration into the rainforest where there are refreshing natural pools and waterfalls, or hike to deserted beaches on both the Golfo Dulce and Pacific Ocean with tide pools, caves, calm sandy gulf beaches, surfing, kayaking, deep sea fishing, sailboat trips, hiking, horseback riding or experience the majestic view of the rainforest canopy and creek below from the 110 foot high tree platform & 250 foot long zip-line. For more information about Bosque del Cabo Click Here Corcovado Tent Camp Corcovado Lodge Tent Camp is unique experience, with 198 acre private reserve located right on the beach on the southern border of Corcovado National Park. On a low grassy bluff between the pounding surf of the Pacific Ocean and the living wall of the jungle sit twenty comfortable 10-foot square wall tents pitched on wooden platforms, each with 2 single beds, a small front porch & a 20 meter walk to one of the two common bath houses, each with 4 showers, 4 toilets, and 4 hand basins. The lodge includes a screened, thatched-roof dining room and kitchen where good meals are served family style, a thatched-roof hammock house and bar. Electricity is supplied by a small generator, and guests should bring flashlights for illuminating paths after dark. The most popular activity at the lodge is wildlife observation from the canopy platform in an emergent tree over 100 feet above the forest floor and hiking in the National Park. The climate at Corcovado is generally hot and very humid, with about 280 inches of rain each year. Access to the Tent Camp is a flight to Carate, where a local guide will walk with you 30-45 minutes from Carate to the Camp (your luggage will be transported to the Camp).

The lodge has cabins scattered over the property, all with ocean views and viewing decks. While at Tiskita you can hike through reforested areas into virgin rainforest, cool off in fresh water jungle pools, explore miles of isolated beaches, surf world class long breaks, boogie board, swim in the ocean or swimming pool, walk to the nearby village, or simply relax in your hammock, where you can watch blue morpho butterflies, toucans, tanagers, manakins and parrots feeding. On the grounds of the lodge you can see sloth, coatmundis, howler, white face capuchin monkeys and the rare & endangered squirrel monkey. Tiskita is actively involved in a program reintroducing baby Pacific ridley turtles to the ocean. The Lodge also worked on a program during 2002-03 reintroducing scarlet macaws to the wild, and these birds are now free flying around the property.
